Drop offs for parade participants should take place on Mesa Madera Drive at Red Cedar Drive. SUMMARY:UNICORN TRAINING GROUP ONLY: Verifications 9/15-9/18
DESCRIPTION:Verifications for Xcel Gold will take place during practice the week of 9/15. Coaches will be evaluating skills to make sure gymnasts are safe and ready for the next level. To be considered for Gold\, gymnasts must demonstrate that they can perform the required skills now\, so we can be confident they are prepared for a safe and confidence-building season. After verifications\, athletes will be placed in either Xcel Silver or Xcel Gold for this competition year. \nYour child will also play an important role in this process—they’ll complete a self-evaluation and share how confident they feel with their skills. Attendance is also a factor in these decisions\, since regular practice is essential not only for safety but also for being ready to compete. \nGymnasts will receive their verification reveal letters the following Monday 9/22 \n\n**If a gymnast is missing 3 or more skills\, they need to be placed on Silver with the opportunity to be reevaluated and moved up after the 2nd or 3rd competition. This will be determined based on the upcoming competition schedule- ideally\, the gymnast will be assessed when there is a gap between meets.
