DESCRIPTION:I am excited to share that I have been selected to give a presentation at Region 1 Congress in San Jose\, Ca this upcoming August. Congress is a 3 day gymnastics convention where coaches from all over our region gather to learn from renowned professionals in the sport of gymnastics. I am honored to have been selected as a presenter this year\, and would like to include the gymnasts as I prepare the materials for my presentation!  \nMy Congress presentation will be on the following topic: 5 minute games for recreational classes and team!  \nI have arranged for time in the gym on Saturday\, June 29th from 1:30pm-3:00pm to record videos of the gymnastics games I will be sharing with the coaches who attend my presentation at Region 1 Congress. The kids will spend 90 minutes playing fun\, gymnastics games and we will be recording the gymnasts playing the games. The video recordings will be included in my powerpoint presentation at Region 1 Congress this August.  \nWhat is the price to attend? Tickets will be collected at the front door. \nCompetition Uniform: All Pre-Team gymnasts will wear their custom Gemstone practice leotards\, hair in a bun with their competition bow placed underneath the bun. We have provided you with a video tutorial and pictures to achieve this look at the bottom of this page! \nAwards: Please model good sportsmanship for the team program by staying until all awards have been called for your child’s session. Please refrain from telling your child their scores/placements before awards are called\, as we do want to model great sportsmanship in this area as well. \nAttendance Friendly Reminder: If your child has an unexcused absence the week of a meet\, they will not be allowed to compete at that meet. If there is an excusable event/reason for the absence\, please notify Kristen as soon as possible. Refunds will not be given if a meet cannot be attended.

This is offered to all current members of the competitive team-both daffodil and sunflower training groups are invited to attend! Gymnasts will work with master clinicians to refine new skills\, make friends with teams from all over southern California\, and have fun! \nEnroll here: Competitive Team Training Camp \nDate & Time: \nSunday\, July 31st Time TBD\, but we have requested a morning session. The camp will confirm with us soon and we will let you know an exact time.
