Teacher Jake is a San Diego native and graduated from Mira Mesa High School. Jake participated in Mixed Martial Arts for ten years, and got his black belt at 15 years old. Teacher Jake also performed at events doing traditional martial arts and also performed group routines with team members. He also worked in a preschool as an assistant teacher for almost two years.
Teacher Jake’s favorite Disney character isTinkerbell and loves to eat poke, or sushi. When asked about the best part of coaching, he said: “My favorite part is getting to see the students grow and progress”.
