Family Policy Overview
Commitment Free Trial Class
Your first class is a commitment-free trial. This means that after your first class, if it isn’t a good fit, simply let us know within 48 hours of the class occurring, and you will only pay for the class you attended. You will be refunded for the remaining classes in the month. We are confident that you will love our classes, but in the event that it is not a good fit, we want you to be 100% satisfied!
All families are required to have a valid credit or debit card on file with Gemstone Gymnastics. Tuition is charged on the 15th of every month. Alternative forms of payment are accepted up until the 15th of each month. The card on file WILL be charged on the 15th of each month for any unpaid balances.
We offer unlimited, free makeup classes for all enrolled students! In order to receive a makeup token (a token is the way that you redeem the missed class for a makeup, think of it like a makeup currency) you MUST let us know any time before the class occurs that you will not be attending. We prefer a 24 hour notice, however as long as you let us know any time before the class occurs, you will be eligible to receive a makeup token. You can only use makeup tokens when you are currently enrolled. Makeup tokens hold no cash value, and cannot be used to replace tuition. For example, you cannot drop your class and continue to attend using makeup tokens. It is your responsibility to schedule your makeup classes and use your makeup tokens when you are enrolled. Schedule your makeup classes in the Parent Portal. You must schedule your makeup classes in advance to ensure there is a spot available in class that day for you to do a makeup in.
In order to be eligible for a makeup, you must notify the office before the missed class occurs. This way we can fill your spot in the class for the day. Notify the office by phone, text, (619) 940-4075, or email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
You must notify us if you are discontinuing enrollment BEFORE the 15th of the month (by the 14th or earlier) in writing via email, online, or by signing a form with the office. Since you are holding a spot in class, your card on file will continue to be charged until you notify us that you are discontinuing. If you do not inform us that you are dropping BEFORE the 15th of the month (by the 14th or earlier), your card will be charged and we are unable to offer refunds for any reason.
